Bert's Bombardiers is a mercenary unit.

There is not much known about this unit. But, as they were successfully able to attack and destroy a cluster, they are are probably of regiment-size.

In 3061 or 3062 Bert's Bombardiers attacked a planet of the Ghost Bear Dominion. They managed to pull off a surprise attack and destroyed the garrison Cluster. Natulson was part of that Cluster, with the rank of Star Commander or higher. One of his colleagues blamed the loss of the battle on him and died shortly afterward due to his wounds. Natulson was stripped of his rank and received a dark spot in his codex.
