[edit] Description

The Leviathan is the Inner Sphere designation for Clan Star Adder's new assault 'Mech, the Frost Hydra. This 100 ton giant serves as a walking turret used to defend several garrisons along Clan Star Adder territory. Slow, with the top speed of 54 kph powered by a 300 XL Engine, the designers of this monstrosity spared no costs during the design phase of the Leviathan. Rarely seen, the Leviathan is unlikely to see much front-line combat due to its impressive price tag of 24,006,000 C-Bills.

The primary weapon system for the Leviathan is its impressive four Gauss Rifles. Backed with six tons of ammunition, this BattleMech can last through lengthy battles. This amount of fire power can cripple, if not destroy, most 'Mechs with a single well placed salvo. For short range support, two Heavy Medium Lasers as well as a rear-firing ER Medium Laser help discourage enemies from getting too close.
