Description

The second of the Demon series of battle armor to be spotted, the Tengu also appears to feature the most experimentation. The Tengu is named after the Japanese demons. Not only can it maintain 21 km/h on the ground, it can also jump sixty meters. It has enough Advanced Armor to stop two Medium Pulse Laser blasts and still have a little left.[3]

Weapons and Equipment

The Tengu's weapons are completely modular as it has a Modular Weapon Mount and an Anti-Personnel Weapon Mount. A Man-Portable Plasma Rifle is the most common weapon, though it can handle others.[2]

Variants

  • Small VSP Laser
A third version removes a slight amount of armor and replaces the Modular Weapon Mount with a Detachable Weapon Mount. This variant uses it to carry a Small Variable-Speed Laser. The bulk of the mount severely restricts the suit's mobility unless it is jettisoned. BV (2.0) = 52[2][5]
  • Medium Laser
A slight variation on the “Small VSP Laser” variant, this version swaps out the laser for a Medium Laser. BV (2.0) = 67[2][6]
  • Plasma
This version carries a Plasma Rifle. BV (2.0) = 48[7]
