Editing BattleTechWiki:Projects

Projects (or so called WikiProjects) are the central pages created to be places for editor collaboration and organization on a particular topic area. BattletechWiki always encourages all users of any experience and knowledge to take part in our WikiProjects. Below lists the various projects that already exist, and if you have an idea for a project please contact a [[BattleTechWiki:Masthead|Sarna Admin or senior editor]] to get started.

==Maintenance projects==
Maintenance projects are used to help facilitate the organization and clean-up of articles to bring them {{Cl|Policies|up to our standards}}.

Category projects are for collaboration and organization on what is know as our ''portal'' or ''gateway'' subjects (also know as our ''main categories'').
* [[BattleTechWiki:Project BattleMechs|Project: BattleMechs]]: This project's goal is improving the BattleTechWiki's coverage of BattleMechs in the greater BattleTech universe. Things that can be done to help this project include; categorization, copyediting and writing articles on 'Mechs. See the project page for further details.

==General projects==
General projects are projects that focus directly on the improvement of certain parts of BTW with editor collaboration. Some of these projects are known as ''User projects'', as their may be only one editor working on it.

* [[BattleTechWiki:Project Technology|Project: Technology]]: This is a group dedicated to improving BattleTechWiki's coverage of equipment and technology.


==Archived projects==
Archived projects are ones that have become completed, combined into another project, or has become inactive for a certain length of time.
