President Christián Avellar was the President of the Raven Alliance from 3135 until at least 3151.[1][2][3]
Personal Appearance[edit]
Christián was considered to be morbidly obese, especially by the Clan Snow Raven warriors within the Raven Alliance.[1]
History[edit]
The grandson of Mitchell Avellar, and younger son of Hugo Avellar, Christián did not expect growing up to succeed to his family's role as Raven Alliance President. His focus as a young man were therefore on literary pursuits, anonymously entering writing competitions which he often won. His writing was primarily satire, often using an allegorical fictional world where humans are ruled by a confusing race of giant birds, which stand in for the Alliance's ruling Clan Snow Raven. He was also a hedonist of the highest degree, who loved eating good food to excess.
Despite his gentle dissent from the Alliance's Clan rulers, and strong sense of Outworlds national pride, he was however chosen by the Raven Council to become President after his father's death by suicide in 3135. This was considered to be due to his brother Eustace Avellar's rumored involvement in extremist anti-Raven organizations, and Khan Sterling McKenna's fondness for Christián.[1]
