Dante Harima was the supervising Technician of the Void Caltrop project in 3078.[1]
History[edit]
Ishikawajima-Harima Battle Armor Industries asked Dante Harima to pursue a path to a new variant of the Void without waiting for a request, hoping to garner an early foothold on future contracts by presenting a completely upgraded suit developed in secrecy.
In 3078, a brief functionality test performed by one of Harima's team verified the mobility and targeting systems, and it was expected that the firm would unveil their creation soon afterwards.
ISF operatives learned of these activities and though recognized that Harima clearly seeks to provide a remarkably enhanced battlesuit for the DCMS, the potential implications of this secret development effort where not discarded as ISF felt that Ishikawajima-Harima might have sought to sell this new design to hostile forces or perhaps to create a unauthorized covert corporate security force. To ensure against this eventuality, ISF increased surveillance of both the board of directors and the top engineering staff like Harima.[1]
