Fenris Plague[1], or Fenris Flu[2], was a virus native to Rasalhague from the time it was initially colonized.
While initially deadly, the virus mutated over time to be less serious for humans, with milder forms continuing in circulation until at least the time of the Clan Invasion. Each year around July, a new strain of the virus would arise in the tropics of Rasalhague and spread around the world, which impacted the military readiness of defenders. Knowledge of this fact was used by Phelan Kell when advising Ulric Kerensky on how best to conquer Rasalhague in 3050.[1]
