Unit Description[edit]
Hookworm's Highwaymen was a pirate band formed from the remains of Grim Sybil's pirate band, and led by one Silas "Hookworm" Black, a former protégé of Grim Sybil.[2]
History[edit]
After the Hookworm's Highwaymen pirates had been hitting several merchants on the Canopian-Aurigan trade route, the Aurigan Coalition sent their Rampart Company special operations force after them. Rampart Company hit the pirate's primary base on Bellerophon on 30 October 3026, destroying some if not all of the hab domes, collapsing their primary 'Mech bay and killing most of the Highwaymen present. Pirate leader Silas Black was elsewhere at the time, however, and when he learned of the attack, he immediately sent his remaining forces (at least five BattleMechs, fresh from a successful raid) to crush the forces that had attacked his base while they were still on-world.[2]
Context implies that the pirates were fully crushed in the fight.[3]
