Position(s) | Legate of Laiaka |
Legate Leigh Bahram was the Planetary Legate of Laiaka, for the Republic of the Sphere, from at least 3130 to 3136.[1][2][3][4]
Personal Appearance[edit]
Bahram was considered to be an immensely obese, though imposing, woman. Her voice, a breathy melodious soprano, was considered to be incongruous with her physical size.[3]
History[edit]
In November 3135, Legate Bahram was involved in confirming Laiaka's engagement of the Steel Wolves Corp to help them deal with a supposed pirate threat in the city of Yaleston, despite misgivings from Governor Jayson Zeander about their lack of BattleMechs and Elemental assets.[3]
Following the Steel Wolves Corp's victory over what were actually local rebels, rather than the pirates as they were told, Governor Zeander was considering withholding payment from the mercenaries due to the significant collateral damage they caused. Legate Bahram however adopted a more conciliatory tone, attributing the disaster to the Wolves being off-worlders like herself who did not understand the unique local conditions, and intervened to ensure they received their payments owed.[4]
