Quentin Drathers was the aide to the commanding officer of the Kathil Operational Area's Valexa PDZ as of 3025.[2]

Major General Drathers, serving under Marshal Vivian Chou, was executive officer of the Capellan March's Valexa PDZ in 3025. Simultaneously, Drathers commanded the Second NAIS Cadet Cadre and was stationed on Beten Kaitos.[2]
During the Fourth Succession War, Drathers and the Second NAIS Cadre were stationed on Axton in order to protect the top-secret research facility located at Fort Vanders. Unbenknownst to Drathers and the Armed Forces of the Federated Suns' high command, the location of the secret lab was leaked to the Capellan Confederation and the planet was invaded by the Fourth Tau Ceti Rangers' First Battalion in January 3029. When the Rangers made their assault on Fort Vanders, they found most of Drathers' cadets out on maneuvers and half of the men left behind were killed in the attempt to defend the base. While Drathers had been ordered to defend Fort Vanders at all costs, he considered the lives of the cadets under his command to be just as important to the future of the Federated Suns and did not want to make any move that would risk the Second Cadre's destruction.[1]
When word reached Drathers that the Fourth Rangers' DropShips were relocating to Fort Vanders, he guessed that it was to evacuate the Capellan troops and their stolen research materials and not to bring in further reinforcements. This deduction encouraged Drathers to form a specialized company of the Second Cadre's instructors and best cadets in order to prevent the Capellans from rendezvousing with their transports. Unfortunately, this ambush failed to halt the Capellan withdrawal as a detachment of Death Commandos provided the Rangers with enough cover to make it to their DropShips with minimal losses.[1]
By 3050, now Leftenant General Drathers continued to serve under Marshal Chou as executive officer of the Valexa PDZ but no longer commanded the Second NAIS Cadre.[3]

- NAIS The Fourth Succession War Military Atlas Volume 1 states that Drathers was killed during the fighting on Axton in 3029, however 20 Year Update lists Drathers as alive and serving as executive commander of the Valexa PDZ in 3050.[1][3]
